She feels that since she can't run she doesn't care about logging her workouts. The club coach has nicknamed her "calamity cathy". In the last 3 months she has managed to sprained her ankle at the track, received another severe bike crash, and a shoulder/neck injury from getting dressed... Go Cathy!!!

i KNOW that she is one tough mom---she not only had the 8 kids, but she obviously worked out hard to stay in shape during and after. She just amazes me. I better meet her this time around or I will be sad. What will she be doing at the race? Last time she was volunteering and I missed her!

AND I will be in AZ in February, let her know that I will personally kick Burt's butt for her.

Yes I am running... not racing. IM has made me too slow to attempt anything that resembles fast running.

I am sure you will do great! I am not racing it either, it is just for the fun of it----and the shirt! (that is a joke, since I never wear them. My kids like them, though!)
