Ran the Mesquite Marathon route down the big downhill section. The first few miles the legs were a little stiff, but things started to loosen up after mile 2. Yesterdays crossfit workout left me a bit drained. Mile 8 & 9 got a little flat and I had to work a little harder to maintain pace. It's funny how I struggled with the flatter section after all that easy falling for the first 7 miles. Good run for a recovery week. I'm ready for track monday!! :)

I got a flyer in the mail last week about the Mesquite Marathon. Looks like the price went up $20.

Did we pay $55 two years ago? They did change the route. It's a direct run to the hotel instead of circling the city at the end.

Yep. $55. Cheapest marathon you'll find.

I just paid $50 each for 2 marathons next year. Sand Hollow and Huff to Bluff. It was a buy 2 deal for 50 each... so Cathy and I are running them.

Sand Hollow Marathon is local. www.sandhollowmarathon.com

Huff to Bluff is in the middle BFE Utah. www.hufftobluffmarathon.com

You may have to contact them to see if they are offering a deal if you register for both. We got the deal at the st george marathon expo
